Search goes to the very heart of Docxonomy as its primary feature.
Starting a New Search
In the main Search page you will find quite simply - a search box. Type in either a question or some key terms and simply press the Enter key or click the Search button. Docxonomy will search your for all relevant items that meet your search criteria, that you have permission to see and present them to you.
You can also choose to preselect "All", "Files", "Images" or "Videos" before running your search and Docxonomy will automatically limit your results accordingly. This will also tell the application to present your search results in an appropriate format. For example, leaving the default choice of "All" will present your results in a list format. However, select "Images" will present your results in a gallery view, making the relevant images easier to preview.
A new search can also be started from the search result page. At the top of the search results, you will notice a search box. From here you may type in some search terms or a question and either press Enter or click the "Files", "Images" or "Videos" buttons to run a search, limiting the results accordingly.
