The Favorites tab is used to store saved searches. These are searches you have developed which produce results that are very useful, and you would like to search for again in the future. It is also a very useful way to get notifications from Docxonomy when new files are added to the system that meets the search terms used in the favorite.
Follow these simple steps to get started.
Saving a favorite
From a search result screen click on the "Save" button in the toolbar at the top of the screen.
In the "Save Search Favorite" screen:
- Enter the name of the search.
- Choose if you want to turn on system notification.
- Click on the "Add" button.
This will save the search under the "Favorites" tab.
Working with a favorite
Executing a favorite search is very easy. All you have to do is click on the image displayed in the panel you are interested in, and the search will be executed.
In addition, you can delete the saved search by clicking on the trash can icon.
Finally, if you want to turn on or off system notification, you can click on the bell icon and click the toggle which manages system notifications.
